Cádiz is considered the oldest living city in the West. With over 3000 years of history, it was coveted by Phoenicians, Tartessians, Iberians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Christians.

Another great idea is to wander through the Barrio de la Viña or Barrio del Pópulo and visit the Gran Teatro Falla in memory of Manuel de Falla, a Spanish composer and native of Cádiz.

Jerez de la Frontera, the capital of the province of Cádiz, is famous for its wines and horses. Jerez boasts the world’s most important reserve of Cartujana lineage Spanish horses, renowned for their beauty, strength, nobility, power, and elegance.

It is also a land of vineyards, with numerous wineries in the area due to the uniqueness of its climate and soil, making it impossible to reproduce Sherry wine anywhere else in the world.
